Just found out that tomorrow is a snow day. We really did get hammered last night by the wet wintery stuff. Our van is currently stuck in the driveway, and the guy that plows for us said "I"ll try to get there tonight, if you're sleeping, I'll leave the bill in the door."

The girls, of course, are excited. All except Meghen that is. Tomorrow was her first ever scheduled choir concert. She added choir to her schedule this year and has taken it very seriously. She's practiced tons and has really talked about nothing else since she started.

As a matter of fact, today, during the middle of watching "I Am Legend" at the theater, she called me to tell me she couldn't find her kazoo (an apparently integeral part of her choir concert) in a near state of dramatic teen shock. I was, of course, ticked off for being interrupted during a movie (what was I going to do about it right then?!?) and lost my temper. *sigh* Being a Mom is too hard sometimes. I've since apologized over the kazoo incident, and offered to help her look for the darn thing.

Anyhow, she is completely bummed out, since not having school means her concert will be cancelled, too. I've assured her that they will reschedule the concert, but it may be well after the holiday break before they actually do get it on the calendar. Poor Meg, she's just heartbroken!
